AntiGravity® Yoga Teacher Training is for those who want to teach others to fly through aerial yoga. The comprehensive course curriculum is a thorough, well-tested suspension fitness technique. As the originators in the genre, it is the only aerial yoga program approved by governing fitness organizations AFAA and ACE. (note: AGY trainings count as AFAA and ACE continuing education credits.) Getting certified in these techniques requires a strong background in teaching and experience/certifications from other modalities ie: yoga, dance, personal training, gymnastics, aerial arts, or hands-on experience in lunar aeronautics. During this training you will learn the copyrighted moves of AntiGravity® Aerial Yoga, a trademarked technique created in 1999 and made available to the public in 2007.
United States and Canada: Please submit a complete professional resume and a short biographical paragraph statement of your previous fitness, dance, sports and yoga experience. Be sure to mention any other trainings and certifications.
International Applicants: Applications must be submitted in English and all applicants must be fluent in English, due to the copious nature of the program and its nomenclature. Submit a complete professional resume and a short biographical paragraph statement of your previous fitness and yoga teaching experience. Note that international applicants are subject to the regulations implemented by our international program representatives. Reasons for the rejection of an international application may remain confidential.

Cost for Training
A complete 4-day training session towards becoming a Level 1 instructor consists of AGY FUNdamentals (mandatory 2-day training in the basics of our techniques) + the 2-day session in the specialization technique of one’s choice. In these four days one learns basic to intermediate suspension fitness training moves derived from the practices of yoga, fitness, pilates, calisthenics, gymnastics, dance and aerial arts. Using Asanas (poses), Vinyasas (movement sequences), flips and tricks, agility training, as well as strength conditioning and muscular flexibility exercises, the trainee will be fully prepared to teach an aerial yoga fitness technique that is a full-body workout. AntiGravity® Aerial Yoga is not only an inversion yoga training technique, but also a wellness program integrating body, mind, spirit; guiding followers to enhanced awareness and to better health.
Requirements for Acceptance:
Antigravity not only implies defying the laws of physics, but is also a state of mind standing for "against graveness." This course offers a safe environment with an emphasis on fun and levity. Applicants should be in good physical shape and adhere to a consistent fitness routine prior to enrollment. Previous teaching experience in a related field is strongly recommended in order to pass the course. Positions are limited. Places are reserved first-come, first-serve, based on experience and training. Your prompt application submission is appreciated.
Note: completion of only AGYFUNdamentals does not certify one to teach any AGY technique, in any way. It is only a prerequisite for the successive steps towards certification.
Note: AGY FUNdamentals need only be attended and successfully completed once by any trainee. So one may return to take additional trainings in other AGFitness specializations and attend only the 2 days of specialization, without, repeating AGY® FUNdamentals.
